After Hurricane Helene, I stood with families along Cedar Creek to see the flooding devastation firsthand. I pressed for—and delivered—stronger stormwater solutions and partnerships so our most vulnerable residents aren’t left behind in future storms.
Rob Walker is a recognized community leader with a deep commitment to public service and environmental protection. He currently serves as President of the Rotary Club of Dunedin North and is an active member of the Dunedin Boat Club, the VFW (Lifetime Member), and the American Legion. As a USCG-licensed Captain with the Caladesi Connection Ferry, Rob works closely with local agencies to promote safe boating and preserve the natural beauty of Honeymoon and Caladesi Island State Parks. His leadership across corporate, community, and academic boards reflects his dedication to being a true steward of Dunedin.
Following Hurricanes Debbie, Helene, and Milton, many believed our Marina would be closed for two years. I fought for a phased reopening plan, and because of that persistence, the Marina welcomed boaters again this June.
